Who we are

Our mission

Sueños is a nonprofit organization providing a safe space of empowerment, learning, and collaboration for the children of street vendors in Antigua Guatemala.

Our vision

To equip children with educational, social, and emotional tools to complete primary school, build skills, and move toward economic autonomy.

Preschool

Literacy, confidence, and critical thinking in small groups. Our curriculum integrates K'iche' language and worldview as lived identity — not simply as translation.

Elementary

National curriculum (CNB) adapted with a community-centered approach and K'iche' cultural integration. Content is not just translated — it is taught through each student's own identity.
