Marcel Janssen has joined our team as the Executive Director, bringing fresh energy, experience, and a shared commitment to our mission of providing safe, empowering, and educational spaces for children and families in Antigua Guatemala.
Marcel has worked for over thirty years in Central America, with nearly half of that time in Guatemala. Throughout his career, he has led projects focused on children and youth through strategic leadership, impact-driven programming, capacity building, and team development.
To ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, we are implementing a tailored plan that protects program continuity and trusted relationships. Katie continues supporting Sueños from the Board of Directors.
